Heptapolis - The "Melathra" of "Zostiras"

In the inner ring of Heptapolis there are 12 circular buildings called “Melathra” with 3 floors above the surface of the Earth and 3 floors below the surface of the Earth, each floor 25 meters in diameter above and below the upper and lower floors, are located in atriums, the set of 12 MINUTES shall have their orientation coordinates such that, the number 12 of the “MELATHRA” shall be located at the point of sunrise on 21-22 March, the time of the vernal equinox of Heptapolis.
Each floor in each Heptapolis “Melathron” has a length of 25 meters in diameter, comprising 885 square meters of floor space, while the total area of the 6 floors of the Melathron is 5,310 square meters.

Around the “KYTTARON”, in the circular plan of “ZOSTIRA”, at the positions of the hours, the 12 “MELATHRA” will be built, all circular in the shape of the Golden Ratio Standard. Each “MELATHRO” bears the number of the hour it represents, with “MELATHRO” No. 12 placed at the rising of the Spring Solstice.
Each circular building has in the central part of the atrium space, 16.18 m in diameter, and is open from the base to the upper limit of the roof.
The inner space of each MELATHRON, including its external colonnade, has a width – radius – 16,18 m., height from the surface of the ZOSTIRA to the base of the tiled roof 16,18 m. and from the surface of the ZOSTIRA to the base of the rest of the space 16,18 m.
The entire structure will be a “whole of the GOLDEN NUMBER”, with a total diameter of 16.18 x 3 = 48.54 m. It will have 4 floors above ground and 3 to 4 floors underground, which will “face” onto patio areas. The entire structure will be surrounded at ground level by a circular road 8,8 m wide.
The Geometric tile roof will consist of special ceramic elements and acrokerama sculptures of ancient Greek models. It will have a peripheral marble colonnade of 48 columns of Corinthian type, with chimneys, with a total height of 8.8 meters each, while the 3rd upper floor will have external jewelry of statuettes and statues of marble and bronze.
The total floor area of each floor of the 12 building complexes will be calculated based on the Golden Number of 1.618 m as follows. (The whole circle of the MELATHROW is 16,18 + 16, 18 + 16,18 meters, Total area : 1.850,505 m.
The central atrium space is 16,18 metres, i.e., 205,612 sq. m. area .
Subtracting 205,612 square meters from the 1.850, 505 square meters, we have 1.644,993 square meters.Subtracting 026,993 cm which is the thickness of the inner wall, we have the final balance : 1.618 square meters (Golden Number). The total of 7 floors x 1,618 sq.m., has an area of : 11,326 sq.m. 220 – 300 people will work in each building on a permanent basis.
Visitors are estimated at 300 – 1000 people on a daily basis of 16 hours. There will be exhibition areas in the buildings which will be visited by the public.
